InRail provides freight transport for all types of goods, such as semi-finished materials, scrap iron, fabricated iron products, chemical products, cereals, timber, cars and RID goods (both gas and liquid). The company operates on many connections in Italy with particular emphasys on the route linking the country with Eastern Europe.
The main locations affected by the inward and outward traffic from the Tarvisio Boscoverde, Villa Opicina and Nova Gorica borders are Udine, Osoppo, San Giorgio di Nogaro, Piacenza, Cavatigozzi (Cremona), San Pietro in Gù (Vicenza), Portogruaro (Venice), Cava Manara (Pavia) and Poggio Rusco (Mantova) as well as various destinations in Piedmont, with an average of about 150 trains per week.
InRail also has a regular schedule of innovative freight services, including the so-called "heavy" trains of over 1,600 tonnes.
